The brand new Inter Boards Coordination Commission (IBCC) grades for all Punjab boards uses the 10-point scale (A++ A+, A, B++, B+, B, C, D, E, U,) with a pass score of 40 percent. Students are awarded letter grades as well as grade points that calculate the grade Point Average (GPA). The system seeks to standardize assessment, cut down on grade inflation, and be in line to international standards and will be implemented in phases beginning in 2025. The IBCC has created a 10-point scale that replaces numerical marks with grade points and letter grades for calculating GPA in addition to Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA).

• A: 85-90% (Remarkable)
• B++: 80-85% (Excellent)
